i love talking to my nephew and i dont really "dumb myself down", i just talk to him like i would talk to anyone. i don't do the babytalk , i save that for my boyfriend:p

I find them interesting as we usually have the same things in common: love of technology, science, video games, can actually hold intelligent conversations that don't end in 'bro', they don't feel the need to dress head to toe in gaudy Ed Hardy bull and drag me out to the hottest club every god-damn night when I want to stay at home and Horde on Gears of War.
I'd rather have a nerdy boyfriend than some smoking hot meathead with the IQ of my shoe (I actually dated a guy like that. Worst god-damn relationship ever. Talking to him was, well, like talking to a child).
Or maybe I'm just not as hung up on social labels as much as you. -shrug- |

Yeah, this is my niece.. almost 4 in these photos at her first trip to Disney World getting the princess treatment. Rediculously cute and definitely the only youngster I like. I just don't really know what to say to her or respond with interest to what she says... although, I will admit she says some pretty funny (not indending to be funny, which makes it funny).
