What if you were promised buttsecks afterward?

Yeah that's how it should be. Every time I met people they'd be like "the future Mrs. [last name] right here!" The minute people see us together they're like 'stop looking at each other like that, it kind of makes us queezy" lol

Marriage is a one time deal for me. I'm only doing it once. And I know I'm with the right person, so weirdly, nothing scares me anymore. Not even marriage statistics! :clown:

Not to be specifically singling you out, but I absolutely despise this thought. Not because I think that any sort of marriage should have an "out" or anything, but because there are limits. Especially to something that is part of someones sanity. What is the point of being married for 20, 30, 99 years if you are living totally separate lives after 10, gf/bf in place of, and basically not having anything to do with each other baring any activity with the children if you have any?

my perfect wedding would be outside in a small town like Breitenbrunn where its really green & pretty, it'd prlly be cloudy which i like :) & id only invite my close family (less than 20 lol) & my bestfriends.. after that we can all have dinner & thats it. its more like a mini reunion that a huge ass expensive fart.

For tax-filing purposes. Duh!

I'm totally confused. What do you despise? Marriage?

Relationships and marriage take work... of course you're going to grow apart if you don't work to stay together. Kids are a big risk factor because you run the risk of growing apart because of them... but making sure you still have time for one another is what makes it work. Mini vacations, date nights, etc.

our roommate is hooking up with a married chick who has been married for 9 years. she said it's just "boring" now. she loves him still but they're bored. they did the swinger thing and that is what made her stray and now she hooks up with our roommate whenever she can.

it really bugs me when she's here..she was here last night. it's like, " bitch, go home to your husband and work out". it's bad enough marriage makes me nervous, i don't need people like her around confirming my fear lol

boo ya! I was shocked when I saw my first post-marriage tax return. I's a beautiful thing.

I don't understand, nor will I ever, the swinging thing. Clearly if you're not satisfied, you're with the wrong person.

i know me too. but then again, i'm not in a position to talk about that because being with someone for a few years, and being with someone for 10 are 2 completely different things. i can't comment on how to make things work after 10 years...i just can't. never been there.
