yeha they used to get married rlly young back then too but they actually coped with sickness, money issues, & everything else that came their way.. today theres one small ing problem & there goes the divorce papers..
they have no real sense of commitment or trying to resolve & amend things or coming to a compromise.. when you're married ur bound to have arguments.. ive seen my parents fight really really bad & my mom cry but they're just bumps on the road.. they get over it in the end.. |
yea but it's just a vicious cycle and those people grew up in broken families with fighting and divorce and war. they have ed up perceptions of what marriage and love is supposed to be like and bad parenting. it's rare to have loving parents in their 60s or 70s who have been married for over 50 years and are still in love. it's very rare. |

Don't be so quick to assume or blame it on broken families. It has little to do with having broken families, and more to do with the lazyness of the people. They don't want to work at it. They want it to just work. They think marriage is all just love and fairytales. |

yes you're right, you bring up a good point. in that case, it's the media's fault for portraying a distorted and faulty image of love. |

So do parents with all the Disney movies and fairytale books.
Although I think that ones from families with 1 parent, actually work at it more to avoid ending up like their parents. I don't know how true that is, but I think it is very much a possibility at the very least.
So what do I want out of life?
To be happy. Whatever that entails. Comfortable living (50k/yr salary is fine by me), wife, MAYBE kids (I don't ing know. I go from wanting them to not wanting them to being on the fence all the time.), and most of all, to travel with my future wife. |
