Does anyone of you feel the same way? Or do you just write it down as good as you can, and let it end up looking like a post by nachos? :p

I totally agree with DuBam and I've been thinking that for a while but didnt make a thread because I thought I wouldn't know how to express how I felt.

Most of the time I refrain myself from posting in some of the "deeper" topics, but when i don't it comes out as if Im not being serious or that im joking. No idea why

Now there is the spanish thread, I thought "oh oh! I can finally express myself now!." But its just yuki and rose masturbating furiously while all of the guys show them their cocks.

I would absolutely LOVE to hear all of you speak

.wma of your voice or stfu

wasn't there a thread a long time ago with clips of people's voices?

Yeah, I remember that thread... been a long time though.

Would be neat to resurrect or do again.

This usually happens to me with English phrases and idioms that don't have a suitable equivalent in Czech. Sometimes (when speaking in my first language) I base an entire sentence around this phrase, and then realize there's not a simple way how to fittingly put it, so I end up explaining what I meant. This kinda annoys me because I feel I shouldn't mix two languages together, and be able to express myself properly (especially in my mother tongue!) without help of foreign phrases.

It's hard to avoid, though, when reading and discussing a lot of specific things exclusively in English.

I also need to talk a lot more than I do. As it appears, that seems to be a common disease nowadays - lots of people who have more than sufficient knowledge of foreign language but can't use even a half of it when they have to open their mouth.

Same here. Luckily there are quite a few expats from the UK and Australia where I work, so I get to practice my English speaking regularly. It's really nice to notice you start getting better at it quickly once you speak a language more often.

Everything on this board is more or less discussed in English, as we all know. But many (most?) of us do not have English as our mother tongue. Over the years I have noticed just how much this affects my output. I mean, if I would post in Finnish, the length of my average post would probably be twice as long. And I feel that there is so much I have to leave unsaid, simply because I don't know how to say it.

I guess the people who have English as their own language are sort of excluded from this thread. But if anyone of you English speakers post on a non-English forum, you might have the same situation?
