No, i dont no who they are, but tony blair is our head man, i mean , hes been in ur country more than ours, him and bush are war buddies! how the hell can u not no him!!!

because some people dont read the news i guess....that does not mean all Americans are dumb...all the people i asked u to mention or tell me who they where are VERY important in the history of the USA (except for maybe Gingrich)...but u dont know them does that make u dumb?

Hmmmm, I posted in red text way before I was a mod on these forums. I post in Red text on other forums that I am not a mod on, eg. the gatecrasher forums.
I use red text to express my individuality, not to express any kind of authority. Red text is synomomous with me, U see red text and u think Wicked Neo, like when u see PvD, U think Starf0x, mere accosiation.
Closing every thread ? if that was the case then there would not be any threads here for u to reply to, Some threads HAVE to be closed, eg: the list thread by gouryella and his cohort's.
It was a thread designed for the sole purpose of ridiculing certain memembers of these forums.
That is not acceptable, and i seem to remember how upset U got when an ex member of these forums cloned your nick on other forums and was saying u was gay.
That did not happen here thanx to the mods were closed / deleted and sorted that problem.
Deletion and editing of certain threads / posts has to happen now and then, this is a public forum for ppl of all ages and sexes, so eg: when porn is posted here that will be deleted as
A: this is not a porn site, there are many of those around if u wish to veiw porn.
B: This site is open to Male and Female and i am sure the majority of female members of TA do not wish to see naked women posted all over the boards.
You complain that there are so few female members of TA, i find that quite understandable when the majority of threads here seem to talk about the many ways in which u wish to "do them".
C: there is no age restriction on this site, therefore minors will be able to veiw here and in some cases some of the material i have seen posted here is NOT suitable for them to veiw.
I aim to be fair and and leave as many threads as possible to go to their natural conclusion but in some case's it is not possible therefore threads of abusive nature are closed.

Not quite true that, i think the most I have had is 2 pages of thanks, and I do not post to get thanks, i post cos i like a paticular track and wish to share it with other ppl that may not have it.

I can not comment on the others in that list but I for one do not make a habit of flaming ppl, i think in the whole time i have been a member of TA, a year and a half now, i have maybe flamed 3 people, and for reasons too long to go into here.
As a mod i try to set an example, i am here to ease flame wars and flame attacks on members of TA so i myself will not indulge in flame wars or attacks on users of TA.

Everyone on these forums has a right to be an , that's up to you if u wish to be an , but when it involves being an to indiviual members of these boards I will enforce the rules and edit / close or delete as required.

The amount of time U have been here is not relavent, if u think the site can be improoved or made better in any way then u can post your opinion, if u have a complaint then please feel free to PM a mod, PM Swamper or make a suggestion in the site suggestions forum.

A sig being one or two pixels over the new sizes allowd is not an issue and certainly not one i would worry about, but the one's that are massively oversized will be edited, the new rules have been in place sometime now so each member should be aware of them.
When a sig has been edited it is then expected for that memeber to not reupload the same sig again and continue using it, if your sig has been edited then it's for a reason and those reasons / rules are explained in the sig editor section in your profile settings.
To be honest with u there are many other things i would rather be doing than worrying about if your sig is a few pixels oversized.
The main two reasons for sig editing of late is this,
certain members of these forums thought it would be amuseing to target another member of the forums by using him in their sigs with what they think is an amusing situation, that was not acceptable and i am sure the rest of the members here would not like to be targeted and riduculed in another members sig.
the other is using your sigs to promote the hubs, as explained before, hubs are ok, but calling them a Tranceaddict hub is not, this has been explained many times why its not accptable, Links embeded in those sigs to may sometimes have to be edited cos they link either to illegal sites, to places where albums are available or that they blatantly link to an area of tranceaddict.com where members are posting details of how to obtain illegal mp3's.
So far we have let that thread continue, but if TA becomes known and in chat we are seeing ppl coming in and only wanting to join TA so they can get hub details, it will be closed and further threads will be deleted.
TA.com does not wish to be known as a site that is here only for MP3 file sharing.
As for thinking I am really important, I don't. I consider myself the same as every other memnber of TA.
1st and foremost I am a Tranceaddict. I come here because i love the music and this forum is one of the best places to find info on new releases, to see reviews on DJ's and productions and to share my love of that music with other ppl who care for and love the music as passionatly as i do.
I do my best in trying to keep the forums clean and as abuse free as possible so that others can enjoy this site as much as i do and make them want to come back to a place where others like themselves can post and talk about the music they love without being flamed for it or abused by certain members who are still below a level of maturity the rest of us appreciate.

At this time that is not the case, with the contstant abuse of individual members, the amount of disregard for other members feelings, the constant posting of spam, the amount of carelessness in the thinking before u post then sorry i feel that statement is far from the truth.
I wish we did not need to have these forums moderated, I would then be able to get back to more of what i originally came to TA for, and thats to partake in discusion and to help others with trance :)
For the moment I have no problem with this thread, its good to clear the air now and then.
Please feel free to comment on anything i have written.

Many of you people have got to realise that, on these forums, you will probably never meet like 7/8 of the people on here in real life. Just because you are sitting in front of a computer, it doesn't give you the right to abuse or make reckless comments about someone else, who is living thousands of miles away from you. Fair enough there is many people on here, who have their own personal disagreements with other people, but that is up to them to sort it out, through the pm, not to post a thread about it. I have never joined another forum, and stayed on it only this one, on the internet, and anyone who ever asks me, to recommend a forum to get info off about trance, or even just to have a bit of a laugh and meet other people, I always send them here, cause it really is a good community.
I feel the Mods, do get a hard time, and from my experience, they have always just been like any other TA on here, and try to help as much as possible. Some of them, I do not know at all, yet, but many have helped alot, like JayD, who has helped with many tracklists.
I do hate it when people on here, pretend that they have more power on here, but this is only a few people, and you just ignore it simply, like, when i new member comes on and asks a question which maybe has been asked millions of times before, why not just answer it? Why shout at them, I'm sure, through time they will learn to use the search button.
I do believe that there is too much being made out of this all, cause when you look at it, it is bascially, a bunch of people coming together to help and be helped, maybe this should be remembered.:)
It is beyond me how such things like what colour a certain person types in bothers you, you will find that the person who is helpful, but doesnt go about boasting that they have shared many files with people, will get alot more respect and thanks in the long run than someone who has to make a big deal out of everything they do.:) |
