only once?? on numerous occasions, do not play the mods for dumb.. we asked you to quite post in the FS.. multiple threads.. and you ignored

Anyway...pfff...I think this is crap! First you make a list and be all COOL about it (including the Milky guy and the Tiesto guy) and when you're backed in the corner you say it's a joke?
Admit it, it's no en JOKE..if you would've gotten more support you would've taken this out into a regular board-war..but hey....the rest of us ARE a community and we stand by each other....too bad huh? :)

You don't know about that! Respect is something you gain by the way you treat people on the board! This means listening to them, giving advice where needed, helping out with stuff, being friendly - sometimes being hard on them - and treat them like you would treat your best friends! And just because some of you guys don't know how to treat people you don't get the attention you want...and you figure you might as well try to get some negative attention..better than no attention at all!! and that's why sometimes these stupid ass ideas exist :rolleyes:
Nothing against Alienfactory, as I can get along with him (ooooh...what do you know!!! i'm a traitor!!!!:o ) but I think he belongs with that group too! Only difference is that he once was a very respected member and you have never been :) *period*

Davinox, while I agree with some of your causes for discontent, I do not feel that you could honestly believe that the course of action you have chosen could possibly remedy them.
I do not feel that moderators abuse their power, for they are only enforcing the rules. I do believe that some of the rules are stricter than they ought to be, but I would rather have a minor degree of excessive moderation than have the forums ruined by chaotic and unmoderated posting.
I also agree that there is a regrettable degree of elitism in the forum community, but this is a flaw present in almost all online communities, and frequenly more severely than here. It may not seem fair that some people recieve more respect than others, but in most cases there are reasons that they have such respect other than, as you assert, purely obsequious behaviour. In any case, launching personal attacks at them is an ultimately counterproductive means by which to attempt to improve the community.
I can understand why you might be upset, but the path you have chosen in your anger is only one which will worsen your situation. Everyone would be able to judge your complaints more judiciously if they were issued in a calm and respectful manner, in which case it would be much easier for the moderators to gauge what changes, if any, they ought to make to their enforcement of the guidelines or the guidelines themselves.
I sincerely hope you can forsake your hatred of other forum members and rather understand that, while you may disagree on what is best for the trancEaddict community, it is a community for which you both wish the best. I also hope that those who you have offended are able to forgive you for the personal attacks you have launched at them as a result of your frustration.
Finally, I hope that everyone understands that this is not a situation of someone being wrong or right. This is a situation where people have different opinions on how things ought to be done and how people ought to behave, and furthermore to realize that the passion with which one puts forth his or her view is reflective of how much they care about the community.
The trancEaddict community will never be perfect, but if we choose to put our energies toward improving it rather than arguing in unproductive ways, we can try to make it close.
