Gentlemen, I've reached a conclusion.
These trance-loving idiots simply don't know any music outside the slim band of pop trance they enjoy. So when they read all the threads on TA not about pop trance, they can only assume all these unfamiliar artists being discussed belong to one giant musical conglomerate. To them, TA probably is a circle jerk, because they're so incredibly myopic and ignorant that, for them, dance music is divided into "trance" and "not trance". All the wankers must be circle-jerking, because they all like the same music: stuff that isn't trance.
In normal instances, I'd attribute such shocking ignorance to newbie status, but that Neo95 guy has been on TA for five years and he still thinks we all listen to trendy minimal. But based on how his arguing method involves telling people he'd beat them up IRL, he's probably an idiot guido who pumps gas for a living. |

Once again, osterzone: If popular stuff is so much better, can you pick a few examples of stuff from the Billboard Top 10 and Top 11-50 songs that are "more complex, more creative, and clearly better than anything in the past"?
Or if you want to talk about just trance, maybe you can pick some trance tracks from the Beatport Top 100 that you think are "more complex, more creative, and clearly better than anything in the past." |

No. That's called exploring and seeing if you like what other people recommend or talk about. TA discusses a great variety of different EDM tastes, and even though not all of them are my taste, at least I have the decency to respect other's choices. |
