it's true that most people don't take seriously the threads in MD anymore, at least those concerning trance topics but that's only because trance has died and people who haven't got over it believe is still alive just like believing unicorns exist.
i've made a couple of threads lately and i didn't get the responses i was waiting for but i was aware that it would happen that way, so basically if you aren't used to the way MD goes you should definitely walk away.
also, i come here (MD) for the lulz more than for the music :stongue: |

I was referring to MD mostly. Maybe Tiesto fans think you have ty taste in music and that the crap you listen to is boring unimaginative fagotry. |

It's not about musical taste, it's about who it is. I highly doubt anyone would find my music "boring", but not everyone will like it. TA has seen the likes of Tiesto/AVB/Deadmau5 in their early, less popular stages when most considered them "good", and watched them evolve into mainstream superstars, and that gets under their skin. I don't know if it's jealousy, or the fact that most TA's just don't enjoy the music they play anymore and have moved onto different, more interesting things. I'm sorry, but trying to defend Paul Oakenfold's musical taste these days is likely to end in frustration, as you would get flamed from practically everybody. |

Probably, but at least other people then Tiesto fans (and the likes of Tiesto) don't go around shouting "your jsut jeAlous!!!!!!!!!!!" or "it sounds good in a club with lasers omg!!1111" or "you don't like this track because you live in your grand grand grandma's basement!!!!!" |

I like the population of TA the way it is, the wankers and the noobs and smartasses. The play between them all is massively entertaining. Further, the word "wanker" is cool and I enjoy having an excuse to use it in conversation, but if I use the word too much I risk becoming a wanker myself, hmmm.
That said, sometimes when thigns get into these big multipage wall of text arguments and stuff, every once in a while, somebody says something clever and unexpected, and it makes everything worth it. |

| Trolling and argument are different things. Trolling posts usually aren't very interesting, although there are rare times when they're really funny. Mostly they're just annoying, though. |
