^ Figured they'd still be around... it was pretty well off the beaten path.

Did you ever recover the keys?

Sunday was fun. Quite amusing the sheer amount of people who didn't know where the smoke stack was, umm... look up? The new site is a bit weedy but I've got faith in the power of Cherry beach feet to resolve that as the summer progresses.

Gregor Tresher was great, I especially loved his last (2nd to last?) track, a dark atmospheric Nick Warren-esque number that made my entire weekend. Track ID anyone?

Glad to hear the missing girl was found.

When I was there yesterday it was flat. The feet did the work already.

indeed. thanks for helping to look that night though. mother nature beats technology again. searching during daylight > searching via cellphone glow at night :D

no luck with the keys, but they much easier and cheaper to replace, so whatev.

as Jay's pics illustrate...it went from wilderness with a thin trail to a proper outdoor venue in the span of hours, lol.

DJs were top notch. good music for chillin' outdoors. the live band was pretty fun too. I am surprised that I've never gone to a Cherry Beach party before...

My Tuesday night drumming circles have been threatened as well.

It's really unfortunate that the odd one or two people have the potential to ruin this fun for the rest of us.

the complaints to the police aren't even during the alotted times of the party.

Most complaints have been from 11pm-3am.

From the perspective of the police though, if those event's were not there to begin with, there wouldn't be those people lingering around at 11pm once they have shut down.

Maybe the organizers should be a bit more pro-active in helping clear people out of the area once things shut down.
