I suspect they will continue their bi-monthly residency.

I saw them twice for July 1st, so got my fill of Balearic beats for a bit...now ready for a Sanchez marathon! This won't be overly vocally, commercial à la More-or-less that is fo sho !

I hope for your sake it's not, but the last time I heard him there he cheesed it out more than my liking. He rocked it when he played on Valentine's day in like '04 or something.
I used to love C&C @ Stereo a ways back, but the noise I've heard from them lately would make me wanna choke a bitch. Waiting for the music trend tides to turn before they regain my trust.

By GRAND mistake I went to see C&C at the boatcruise in Toronto and can I say the sucked... I wanted to jump of the ing boat... 4 hours of the worst music I have heard in a while... The only decent track they played all day was Koma Koma... I think I heard "My dream is to fly over the rainbow so high"....

Well, I was there for the boat party and the after party. They were nowhere near vocally, cheesy, commercial like Guetta, Nissim or Morales. I certainly don't recall the track you're making reference to. My buddy has been a C&C fan since they've first hit Stereo and he thought they had spun their best sets to date. Of course they spin warmer, sexy beats on the boat and played more techy, proggy, harder at the after-party. Everyone I spoke with though they kicked ass! And the vibe at both parties were great.

lol what a dumbass.

They played amazingly, and it was one of the best boat cruises I've ever been on.

*vomits in sleeve*

I have never seen C&C in an afterhour, maybe they will play differently, but whatever they did there definitely didn't cater my tastes at all... Oh yea and that other dj that opened for the at the afterparty, it felt like he had the same loop for 3 hours.

Dark prog tribal is the way to go if you are gonna go tribal....

BTW there is David Fetta playing @ Pepsi forum that night bro... Tickets are going fast ;)

The party itself was good, great crowd and all... but the music

Hey guys

I hear that taking whatever zeksg says about any type of music other than tech-house/minimal techouse is retarded.

I hear he is so close minded when it comes to other types of music that kitties die whenever he tries to listen to anything else

Fact or fiction ....

I have seen them over 15 times, and that was one of the best sets I've ever heard them play. It was such a well put together set.

They totally kicked ass on the boat. Best of the summer for me.

i remember when i used to fight with krinker.:p

he is kind of right though zeksg.

as much as i (really really) dislike chus and ceballos, not too many people are playing the super dark anything anymore. You have the Blackout nights which Creator does (and he does this style quite well too), but if only hearing this type of music is what makes you happy, you are probably going to not like going out too much in the coming months simply because it is not en vogue anymore at all.

Even some of the DJ's that used to play darker than Dikembe Mutumbo have moved on to a different style. Like all musical tendencies (it is cyclical) it will come back eventually, but it will be rare now.

While C&C is not the type of music I throw on at home to listen to - the times I've seen them at big after-hours type events (BOA/Stereo/Black & Blue) - I've really enjoyed them. Haven't seen them in quite some time also.
