he is kind of right though zeksg.
as much as i (really really) dislike chus and ceballos, not too many people are playing the super dark anything anymore. You have the Blackout nights which Creator does (and he does this style quite well too), but if only hearing this type of music is what makes you happy, you are probably going to not like going out too much in the coming months simply because it is not en vogue anymore at all.
Even some of the DJ's that used to play darker than Dikembe Mutumbo have moved on to a different style. Like all musical tendencies (it is cyclical) it will come back eventually, but it will be rare now. |
Forget Creator... Any good tech would be marvelous. Take Carola for example(his 2009 Timewarp Compilation the Hotel Sessions is incredible, however he will probably never get booked at Stereo)... but still forget even the tech...
D-formation or something along those lines would please a lot of people... |

I am not taking about Montreal Jay, I am talking about this Saturday @ Stereo, the night me and my friends planned to attend, and now are probably not going to.
I don't complain, Montreal is amazing and there are always places to go to hear quality stuff. |

ahhh i see.
You have to expect Stereo to go this direction to draw back the same Saturday crowd that kept the place alive while it was on life support. Stereo would bring in huge names on Fridays and barely 500 people would show up. You have to understand this, and anyway you will have more then enough tech to see you through at terasse bonsecours. :)
i think stereo is trying. |

PS: I expect to see you fist pumping it to Creator, Saturday @ piknic :) |

well done ;)
'Gonna skip Circus gig and catch creator at Piknic instead most likely. If I see you (look for bobbing white turban) I'll be asking for my David Fetta trademark back :p
Back to topic: good, safe move by Stere; everyone's all too familiar with C&C and they have a big gay following too. I liked them more in '05 but the crowd will eat them up for sure. Don't expect a set similar to an afternoon boat cruise one. |

zeKsg is a troll. Look up his past posts if you want to see what instigation/nonsense he talks about.
He's never even seen Chus and Ceballos in a proper after hour setting AND his only reference point for them is two DAY parties in TORONTO on CANADA DAY. Who is he to talk? |

I don't like your humpy pumpy tribal with cheesy vocals, get over it. |

That's fine. But if you think that's the way Chus and Ceballos play all the time in every setting, you need to get out more.
I was on that boat cruise and after party, and it was vocally, but you are making it seem like it was David Guetta stuff. It wasn't. There was sunshine and a boat, you can't expect dark techno.
I've seen Chus and Ceballos at Stereo a few times and that is how I prefer to see them. Dark and twisted. |
