Someone actually needs to do that, but I think NASA would refuse to experiment with fire aboard the shuttle.

yup, i almost walked out of event horizon cause i was scared.... i must of been like 15 |
The scene where they view the unscrambled footage of what happened to the previous crew....:nervous:

It wasn't merely disgusting; when considering the context, it was just incredibly disturbing. |

Horror movies don't really scare me unless they are psychological and play on my imagination. Directors really shouldn't reveal too much and they should let people's imaginations scare them rather than what is shown on the screen. That's the true horror. It is sort of like asking why we were afraid of the dark as kids (if you ever were). We weren't afraid of the darkness, but the possibility of something truly horrifying waiting in the darkness. It was our imaginations.
Like someone said on here, they first half of Event Horizon was scary, the last half was eh. |

Despite some scary atmospheric tension (the scene where they see a pair of lights closing in on them!), I didn't find it terribly scary inasmuch as it was just bleak and gloomy all the way through. |

E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial.
I used to be petrified of that little wrinkly .:( |
+1...the scene where Elliot first meets ET in the field scared the crap out of me. To this day I have to turn a light on before entering a room at night because of that little alien . |

Bam! I don't know why too, but I saw Signs in the theater when it first came out and it really freaked me out... especially when they were watching that news clip from the kids birthday party in Brazil and you saw the thing for the first time, and when Mel Gibson went over to that house where it was locked in the room and he was trying to catch a glimpse from under the door. lol

Jesus Christ, I never thought anyone on here would say that. When I was a kid, I watched signs, and remember sliding down my chair because of the sheer horror I was experiencing. If there's one thing that freaks me out more than anything, it's aliens. That news clip from the kids birthday party is literally scarred into my memory as being the scariest thing I've ever witnessed. The rest of the movie was kinda ty, but that freaked me out so much.
Also, another movie that scared me, but wasn't supposed to be that scary was the original Alien. That ing thing was so absurdly scary, I was literally shaking every time they tried to go find it. |
