| I think Tiesto is a great dj. I mean if you make fun of him as a dj then you make fun of everyone you like. His sets recently have included tunes by Guy Gerber, Sander Van Doorn, Pryda, Chris Lake, Add 2 Basket, Gareth Emery, etc etc etc....He is a very good dj. He spins good music. As a producer, well thats where his douchebaggery comes in. He does this horrid remixes for Britney Spears and Three 6 Mafia....i mean cmon man. Its just terrible. Does he not expect to loose fans by doing this ? I mean what if Metallica did a rock remix of Britney Spears. Long hair metal fanatics would be literally on the hunt to assassinate James Hetfield(Metallicas singer). Got damn Tiesto.:whip: |

just saying, hes probably REAL expensive right now. i dont want that affecting ticket sales. look how pricey even PVD has gotten.
re: Lostvission: hmm i dont see anything in these posts making fun of Tiesto btw -- i certainly wasnt referring to him in those terms. i was looking at costs etc. just saying Made doesnt need to book him in order to draw ppl/make profit. |

haha i wasnt referring to you...but the mere mention of Tiesto with some people draws criticism these days. Just felt like saying it really. And yes..he isnt needed for the next Electric Zoo. |

imo iam kind of tired of tiesto indoors its the same every year
i feel he needs to do another outdoor set
not just a festival set for a hour or 2
but i mean like his own 5 hour set and just bang it the fuk out
no promoting your new album and whoreing your own out either
but i guess we can wish in one hand and crap in the other
see which one gets filled up first :p :toothless |

well the Hammerstein sets should be different...
but yeah i wish he would do a stadium show the way he did for the first 2 Tiesto in Concerts. How come we never got to experience any of that, booo :whip: |

nah he makes enuff money as it is
guy has his own record label,clothing line,albums
and he averages 100k per solo arena gig
i think hes doing it just to be a megastar at this point

Agree, I watch those DVD's over and over again, just ask people that have been to Edbiza, LOL...why not that in NYC? 6,7,8 hour epic sets??? |

Your whole comment defines selling out. It is impossible for a DJ, even at the top of his game, to have sick tracks/sets/events and be real with his/her style. There is no money in this music, not the way there is money in main stream pop. |
