Wait, owning a record label, playing at gigs, and releasing albums is selling out? The clothing line maybe, but not the other stuff. Maybe I'm reading it wrong? :conf:

i agree and disagree
but he has been doing those big tiesto in concerts before he started to sell out
but the cheesey vocals, corney clothing and everything else that sucks has been the past few years
so again i dont really think he cares/needs the money cause he is doing fine as it is
he just wants his name to be recognized by more people around the world and like i said be on the superstar level
cause chances are if you walk down the street in manhattan today and ask 50 strangers if they heard of tiesto maybe 3 would know of him

It is the direction that his music has gone to that makes me feel like he is selling out. Sorry, should have clarified.
I got your joke but Tiesto now annoys me so I made the comment anyway.

I posted this on page 10 of this thread but ill repost cause it fits better now.
I think Tiesto is a great dj. I mean if you make fun of him as a dj then you make fun of everyone you like. His sets recently have included tunes by Guy Gerber, Sander Van Doorn, Pryda, Chris Lake, Add 2 Basket, Gareth Emery, etc etc etc....He is a very good dj. He spins good music. As a producer, well thats where his douchebaggery comes in. He does this horrid remixes for Britney Spears and Three 6 Mafia....i mean cmon man. Its just terrible. Does he not expect to loose fans by doing this ? I mean what if Metallica did a rock remix of Britney Spears. Long hair metal fanatics would be literally on the hunt to assassinate James Hetfield(Metallicas singer). Got damn Tiesto.

The next Electric Zoo needs a Guido tent. This will guide them to the light, and allow them to flex their pecs in satisfaction and glory amongst their fellow brethren in a natural habitat.
The Guido Tent line up :
Ian Van Dahl (1-3)
Louie Devito (3-5)
Cascada (5-7)
Darude (7-9) *special 2 hour continuous non stop sandstorm set*
Lady Gaga (9-11)

The success of EZ is really major to us. I wonder what their sales forecast and results were for Made. It had to have been a huge production and learning experience either way. I know navigating the city for permits wasn't easy and since there weren't major issues, hopefully there will be other events besides annual EZ. It also says a lot for production teams who seemed to give up on NY events.

At 1:40 - it pretty much sums up my comment. For those too lazy to click: "Man, are you crazy? You must be out o yo mind!"
p.s. you'd be surprised how many TAs would be ninja listening and secretly fist pumping in their pockets to "Castles in the sky".
p.s.s. you forgot DJ Encore
P.s.s.s. Somehow you know about these acts/songs/material... hm... how?
p.s^4 - DJ Sammy is falling out of favor even with the bashing community, I see.
