Are Romanians aware of the fact that they're now between to Serbias? :D
(She was born in Ukraine, after all. And, despite the fact that her father is Serbian, her mother is Russian... so she's not really that much of a Serbian, you see) |

That's true and I've read in a book somewhere many years back that the majority of the Serbian people were actually Russian people that moved to former Yugoslavia and that's their origin but who really knows?
Good posts wotyzoid, my brother had a chance to meet Jessica Alba in person back in May 2009 at the Revlon marathon supporting women with cancer, he told me she had almost no make up on and was gorgeous in person but shorter than she looks on tv. That guy that's with her is one lucky dude. |

Geneticists :p
There's some truth to that, by the way. It's no accident that Slavs all speak similar languages, though there was outside influence from other languages (that's inevitable), and there were also internal and external migrations of all sorts. In that sense, it wouldn't be too difficult to trace a common origin among all Slavs, despite local influences... and, from that, a common origin between Slavs and Germanic peoples, and Latins, and pretty much everyone in Europe, with quite a few exceptions. |
