That is probably a good estimate. |

lol i was gonna say something to the effect of "well those types are pretty interesting when it comes time to get done and fix things and be great in bed"
one of the little things we never agree on is movies though. god my bf has horrible taste in movies.
so far he's made me watch twilight, never back down, fast & furious, and some other van wilder retarded 17 year old humor type of movie:wtf:
he likes the movies i pick for the most part, but i never like anything he picks. |

| I think it is pretty accurate to say most women value a useful (handyman who makes bank) guy more than an interesting one, if they have to choose. Of course, it also seems like most guys value a girl with a great body more than one who is great to talk to. The two types are practically made for each other. |

same thing with us
We are always at the vid store for over half an hour trying to decide what to get. It's ing annoying.
This is partially my fault because I really don't like watching anything freaky or death-related before bed because then I have crazy nightmares filled with blood and chopped off heads. And it's just unpleasant and stressful cuz I wake up with my heart pounding and then can't sleep.
He LOVES horror, mafia movies, gambling movies, ed up psychological thrillers and war flicks.
I like foreign films and new-age romance and light comedies.
The only one we ever agreed on immediately was Young People ing.
Great movie
lol that was the one that spawned that whole threesome thing last year |

actually nevermind...maybe she doesn't. just saw this picture of her and she looks gorgeous w/ the darker shade of red/brown. i never liked her looks but this picture just turned me.

i think maybe she is one of those chicks who is going to get sexier as she ages. she was ugly as hell in american pie. |
She's always been cute, in my opinion. That Czech exchange student from American Pie was also mega, but I can't find good pics anywhere. |

well you should never judge a book by its cover. yea my boyfriend is the stud "handyman" builder type, but he is by no means a dummy. he's actually pretty ing smart and we've had countless conversations about life and religion and physics, etc... and he likes to have little experiments making things run on homemade fuel and like that lol
aside from the obvious book smart (physics professors, etc..), my definition of smart is when people can build and fix things and properly understand how things work like cars, AC units, electronics, etc...
maybe it's just because i'm a chick and i dont quite grasp those types of things easily, but i'm always impressed by that kind of knowledge/skill.
lol there i go talking about my bf again, i better shut up before i get flamed. |

I didn't say handy guys can't be smart. Some guys are definitely both. I said if forced to choose one set of qualities over another a lot of women will choose handy and well-off over interesting and intelligent. |

| yea i know what you mean...but i was just trying to let you know that there are handymen out there who are also intelligent. |

Definitely not in my books.
I would never be with a man that doesn't stimulate me mentally.
If I wasn't sure about the longevity of my current relationship before, everything was confirmed this past summer when we drove 6 hours to
Ottawa and then back 4 days later.
12 hours in a car. It was a mix of conversation, interrupting eachother to make a point or to share something, comfortable silence (thank GOD we agree on music), and laughing so hard that I almost peed my pants. We also got lost 3 times, he took a outside, and I got pulled over for throwing a cookie out the window :stongue: |
