Everything. Although if you promptly make a huge list of IDM/ambient full of Youtube links and rambling descriptions I will probably ignore it. I want the absolute cream of the crop. Two or three of the very best.

I'll be uploading my selections and letting the rest of the CMG staff hear, so this is a very good chance for you all to have that underappreciated gem you've been hyping to be recognised by a largish music site and get out there to a wider audience.

Other things: it is quite a hipsterish site, so things such as BoC, Autechre, Prefuse 73 and other hipster faves will already be recognised. I'd rather hear the less obvious nominations. Sasha, Massive Attack and Sphongle are blindingly obvious.

And? Those were the ones that came to mind. Deal with it, lol.
rawbound
Joris Voorn- Future History
Vince Watson - The eMotion Sequence
Shed - Shedding The Past

Dunno, three albums that I've liked very much atleast and still do.
Nik Novo
Not purely EDM, but these are my top albums of this past decade:

Chicane - Behind the Sun
Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
8 Mile Soundtrack (dunno, if it counts as a Compilation)
Blank & Jones - Milchbar Seaside Season
Joss Stone - The Soul Sessions
Darude - Rush
Limp Bizkit - Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavoured Water
Mirco de Govia - Iconic Path
Modjo - Modjo
Nu Nrg - Freefall
Creutzfeld & Jakob - Gottes Werk und Creutzfelds Beitrag (German Hip Hop)

I hope I haven't forgotten anything
Lebezniatnikov
A couple of my favorites, some perhaps slightly obvious -

Ambient/Experimental:
Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion
Volcano Choir - Unmap

EDM:
The Field - From Here We Go Sublime
Gui Boratto - Chromophobia
Lindstrom - Where You Go I Go Too

And though it's bleedingly obvious, I wonder if Kid A counts as experimental?

Buck up and ignore it, otherwise you'll be posting that a lot in this thread.
netroM
Vibrasphere - Lime Structure and Archipelago
Slagsmålsklubben - Sagan Om Konungens Årsinkomst
Protoculture - Circadians
The Knife - Silent Shout
Fluke - Puppy
Filteria - Daze Of Our Lives
The Album Leaf - Into The Blue Again and In A Safe Place

I'm sure Röyksopp - Melody A.M. is blindingly obvious but I want to make sure its not forgotten :p

Sykonee
Ambient/Experimental
Peter Benisch - Soundtrack Saga
Asura - Life²
Vector Lovers - Vector Lovers
Trentemoller - The Last Resort

EDM
Vitalic - OK Cowboy
The Bug - London Zoo
Felix da Housecat - Kittenz & Thee Glitz
Mistical - The Eleventh Hour

These are the ones I assume you haven't gotten yet anyway, and probably won't get a mention at CMG. Well, Trentemoller may, but I didn't see a review of it in their archives.
Domesticated
Progressive trance:

Solar Fields - EarthShine
Son Kite - Colours
FREq - GoSub20
FREq - Strange Attractors

Techno/minimal:

Alex Smoke - Incommunicado
Alex Smoke - Paradolia

Those are my most obvious choices for truly influential albums that haven't already been mentioned. I'll have a look at my collection when I get home and come up with some others.

I'm surprised to see you do a thread like this. As you have been so apt to point out, they usually degenerate into a bunch of morons naming their favourite releases rather than what has actually been asked for. Prime example here:
