It has its share of IDM wankery. I loved it. Have you heard those new tracks from the upcoming album the band got on their site?

I heard Zatracenie won some "Best electronic album" award in Japan so yeah, I think it counts.

As bas and Lebez mentioned, Gui Boratto's Cromophobia is pure class, and as d-miurge said, Paul Kalkbrenner's Berlin Calling is as well.

Others that come to mind (I don't know if these will be "blindingly obvious"):

Vibrasphere - Archipelago
Joris Voorn - From A Deep Place
Ame - Ame
Ellen Allien - Sool
Lee Jones - Electronic Frank
djnitride
Bobby West Virginia - The Last Day

lol, in all seriousness:

Sasha - Involver
Solar Fields - Earthshine
Trancefxs
I checked the other lists and I didn't see this one.
Not an Ambient - Experimental expert, but I keep listening to this one from time to time for the great variety of the tracks and the original way the tracks flow into each other: Wombatmusic - Shameful Silence
netroM
remembered another one which might be blindingly obvious but should not be forgotten:
Man With No Name - Teleportation
palm
artist albums in edm generally suck but Ticon - Zero Six After is bearable. And of course the newest Prodigy album should be in there eventhough its only the first track and the two bonustracks (on some only) which are good. Daft Punk Alive 2007 is a must. Underworld Everything Everything Live is great. Union Jack - Pylon Pigs. X-Dream - Irritant (2002). X-Dream - We interface (2007ish?). LSG - Unreleased Album. Yeah, MWNN - Teleportation is awesome. Oh I almost forgot: Technasia - Popsode!!!! BEST ONE. And Riccardo Ferri live Meganite Ibiza vol2.

Ricardo Villalobos - Fabric 36 too :p
palm
are mix albums allowed?? that changes everything.
woscar
Ricardo Villalobos' Fabric CD is practically an album as it consists exclusively of his own previously unreleased productions. Only thing is that it's mixed. ;)

Mr.Mystery
Okay...

2 Bit Pie - 2 Pie Island
Jon Hopkins - Contact Note
Röyksopp - The Understanding

In no particular order. I'm sure there are others too but these were the 3 that I could immediately think of. I'll add more if something comes to mind.
