One that wasn't mentioned that I really liked was Luomo - Paper Tigers, even if it got a bit repetitive from time to time. Also definitely agree with those who said Solar Fields - Earthshine and Sasha - Airdrawndagger. How about Losoul - Care?

Ugh, no it didn't. It was essentially a polished and remastered rendition of a blueprint that BC already had pioneered thoroughly approximately 10 years ago, and it certainly does not deserve a spot among the decade's greatest albums.
Dub techno is done and dusted, ladies and gentlemen. It really is time to try something else now.

IMO the best album of the entire progressive trance scene would be Aviatuer by Capetown. If you're not famaliar, Capetown is Ferry Tayle and Airwave. Below are my favorites from the CD even though I could listen to the entire album nonstop.

Anyway, I went through my collection for candidates to this thread, and came up with the following three:
The benchmark. This was Dizzee at his rawest and most authentic, before he was concerned with fame and started to churn out embarrassing pop nonsense. The whole record just bursts with energy and creative impact, regardless of whether Dizzee decides to blow up your speakers ("Stop Dat", "Jus A Rascal", "Fix Up Look Sharp") or reflect on what is going on around him in estate life ("Jezebel", "Sittin' Here", "Brand New Day").
Who would've thought that pop music mutilator V/Vm would go on to make something as awe-inspiring as this? This is the way ambient should be done, seemingly unintrusive and subtle, but with so many fine details and layers that reveal themselves on repeated and thorough listens. The album also has some eerie and strange dark undertones that really sets it apart from your usual ambient record. The vinyl is even cut at low volume to let the surface noise be integrated into the soundscapes. Bravo.
When KDJ spaces out like he does here, noone can really be sure what he'll churn out, except that it will always draw on his soul/funk roots. Forevernevermore just might be the least accessible release in his back catalogue, but it is also one of the most rewarding and unique. Joyous, almost gospel-leaning tunes like The Thief That Stole My Sad Days are segued effortlessly into the kind of smoked out weirdness only KDJ gets away with. There is dynamite between the lines here if the listener just stays patient.
