Pretty good list considering its a public website that has groups who obviously stand to benefit from being included on the list. For example, you'll find most of those titles currently in stock on juno. At least, they were when it was posted this morning. I imagine all of the titles are or were available on juno at one time or another, although I didnt go through the entire list to confirm this.
I agree with the Levon Vincent and Ostgut shout outs in the singles section. I'm happy to see that they got the Brock Van Wey double cd in there as I've been beating that one up at home the last 4 days non-stop. Also the Moderat album is one that I frequently put on the decks and walk away. Can leave it unattented from start to finish (just need to flip it over once ;)) Moritz Von Oswald Trio - Vertical Ascent was another that pretty much had to make the list. For home experimental/dub listening its top notch. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a break from the normal club fodder.
I dont know how they arrived at the number 1 being that hard to digest Dubstep number, but hey, its not my website. I feel like overall they got more right than they got wrong. They did a better job choosing the albums than the singles. Also did a great job describing the tracks and the culture surrounding them. That's just my opinion, your experience may differ.

That DJ Sprinkles album on mule is sick and tbh I didnt know it existed prior to reading this, so I'm glad I took the time to investigate. |

| I trust you'll be buying the whole list on vinyl. In two years time. |

Lots of stuff missing from those lists from my perspective. And yeah the DJ Sprinkles album was one of the highlights of 09 for me.
Btw the top tracks/albums/comps are voted on by RA staff/contributors, not the user base. |

"Add to wishlist" button engaged sir. Btw, the Brock Van Wey isnt available on vinyl. I bought a cd for the first time in a while. My car is missing all 4 hubcaps. Has no dashlights. My roof leaks. I recognize that its an issue ;) |

yea I figured. Honestly its probably better than having heads click the vote button 10K times, we've all seen the tragic outcome of that style list. |

Surprised to see Dinky in the album list for one, I definitely don't agree there.
I personally also would've liked to see Jori Hulkkonen's new album in it :) |

RA has a real hard-on for Dinky's album for some reason. I didn't think it was that great either. |

this year they seem to be pushing dubstep for some reason , I think i came to that conclusion when I saw the labels result poll ,btw i like dubstep its pretty interesting and have nothing against it.
I haven't been listenign to the RA podcast for a while now , are they more Dubstep orientated as of late? |

I don't see echospace [detroit] in their top 20 labels.
edit: agreed. Putting Hyperdub at the number 1 spot is lol. |
