this is not a notion that I conceived myself. people were saying progressive trance didn't exist on TranceAddict during the time when holden, chable, o'neil, and their fellow producers were making those kinda tracks with that label. furthermore, those tracks that paul van dyk and markus schulz were playing in 1996-1997 were actually acid trance tracks.
