Why, because you're butthurt that I told you what the rules of the forum were? :stongue: I didn't sit there and say that your photos were gross or offensive, I simply told you that TA has rules, and that you were breaking them. Now you seem to be taking that and making things personal. Real mature there, buddy.

The US has however made a large commercial scene for slow tempo house, techno, and has had some good breaks artists such as crystal method, and fat boy slim... djs such as carl coxx, jeff mills and others have made names for themselves...
Please educate yourself before trying to join in on a discussion. Jeff Mills and TCM are from America, yes. However, Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim are both from Europe. In addition, if you think that Detroit Techno is "slow tempo" then you're quite mistaken. Educate and immerse yourself in music other than Trance and you'll find that America has had quite an influence.

I'd agree with this. Sasha's musical development has never gone in that direction, and he's always pushed his sound in the same way any respectable artist in any field would push their work. In that respect he has a lot of artistic integrity.
The big problem with this is that a DJ who never reads the crowds, feeds off what they want and serves the greater need of the party is a bad DJ. You could make the argument that since Armin has made a name for himself as a trance DJ people will go to his parties expecting trance, and sacrificing what he personally favours over the desires of the crowds makes him, in some perverse way, a good DJ. Sasha probably can't play most of the stuff he listens to in his own time, because it wouldn't be what people want.
My point, insofar as there is one, is that philosophy of a "good DJ" and a "good artist" aren't always compatible.

Ahhhh I forgot Lews...another member of the Woscar posse.
If it ain't from Platipus in his book, it's trash.

Oscar has a ?! :eyes:
Yoshi
Don't know why others hate him, but i hate him for calling the music he plays trance, while it has nothing to do with it.
And he said in 2008 that for him Oliver Lieb was pure trance and that he is making now the same music, idiot.
Subtle
The thing with Armin is that he really knows better, but has gotten so much popularity by the music he plays that he just goes on, and consequently reached the #1 spot.

Lews doesn't listen to the music that Woscar does. Platipus is a ing Trance label. Keep trying, though, it's hilarious. :stongue:

It doesn't matter. He still has the same "I'm better than you" attitude that the rest Woscar's posse has.

I swear...99.9% of the time the people on this forum who complain about how bad "supersaw cracker trance" is and how their music taste is so much better than everyone else turn around and listen to this stuff:
:stongue: :stongue: :stongue:
I'll take Armin over your crap any day of the week.
