Word, I remembered that there was someone here in the c0r from Guatemala, but couldn´t remember who the it was. Wanted to know if there was any good clubs in the city. I was able to get out to The Box last Saturday. Tiny little place but the DJs were dropping some good tunes and one of the bartenders speaks english. Is there anywhere else worth hitting up, say, on a Friday? |

For EDM that's pretty much the only place that has it exclusively every night. That's one of the places I want to get a gig in the near future. I already have an in, and all I need now is balls to go through with it. :p
The thing here is that stupid 1 AM curfew. Totally s on the nightlife of the city. What most of my friends and I have resorted to is to gather in someone's house for drinks and .
What kind of place are you looking for? |

Just anything EDM-related really. Just to be able to say I checked out a couple of clubs while here. Some girls are taking me out tonight for some reggaeton, but if I can´t stand it, we´ll be moving along to somewhere else. Last night I went to Oakland mall and that Aquarium place was pumpin out some trance tunes, that woulda been kinda cool if we weren´t on our way to meet some people elsewhere. I like fish :p |

I´ve heard reggeton before, but never for a prolonged period of time lol. I think I´ll be able to stand it, if only because I´m going to be with some good looking girls for the night.
I used to be big on trance but I can´t stand a club-night of it anymore, I can only listen to it in my car or at home.
These days I´m into house and techno for a club-night. The Box was actually perfect for me, so unless you have another suggestion, I may just end up going back there. |

Tonight your best bet might be The Box. I'm not sure if anyone's playing at Allegreto, but that's a nice little place regardless.
Dubfire's playing tomorrow night @ Stage if you like that sort of thing. Make sure you wear your special hazmat suit if you choose to go. You're going to need it to go to those depths. :p |
