Few months ago I saw some cheesy program on the television claiming that cats who use their paws like that are considered to be smart. I've always known. :p

Rowdy, 11 years old.
He's still alive and kickin..but moves like a senior citizen.. I love that little bastard..gonna be sad when he goes.

Hell yeah! My cat did the same under the faucet. I happened to get the tongue in the pic I posted but the daily routine was as soon as someone approached the sink even to brush their teeth he'd be on the counter pretty much lying in the sink ready to stick his face and paws under the faucet and drink. For cats hating water he'd get pretty wet with the water eventually cascading all over him.
