Common courtesy is relative though, and varies across cultures. Which is why I've become more tolerant of people whose manners don't meet my standards. However, when people can't respect guidelines that are clearly indicated (i.e. priority seating on public transit), that really ing pisses me off. Especially when it comes to the elderly. I'm pretty sure that respect for one's elders is a universal concept. |

These people are run over by me every chance I get. Man, woman, or teen (small children and the elderly are the only exceptions, & the elderly are given a calm verbal reminder).
I especially enjoy putting a hard shoulder check into some putz 15 year old who's trying to look like Mr. Bigshot in front of his friends. They've ended up ass over tea kettle on more than a few occasions with a smirking "sorry about that" from yours truly.
I really have zero tolerance for that bull.
That & dips who put their feet on the ing seat!!!! |

I hate it when people are done reading the newspaper or metro, and just leave it on the seat.
its littering! like wtf you slob. no matter who you are.. dressed up or thugged out or some factory worker... throw that out or dont bother picking it up in the first place. |
I disagree! Don't you realize that people pick those up and read them? I always leave mine on the seat, never on the floor. I have picked up Metro/24/parts of other papers like this on numerous occasions. That IS proper recycling! |

the only drama I've ever experienced living in Toronto has been on either the TTC streetcar or subway... it always seems to be in the middle of the day too! sketch
(and I'll also re-iterate what was said earlier, that some other transit systems around the world are far scarier... both the Paris Metro, and London Tube immediately come to mind...) |

Okay, i'll admit that i've done that before... but with reason!
First off, I rarely actually pick up the paper... if i see one on my seat (or next to my seat), i'll pick it up and read it. When i'm done and leaving, i'll put the metro back on my seat. I figure someone else will pick it up and read it. In fact, i've seen more people pick up and read the metro off their chair, than throw it on the floor when they take a seat. It's great reading material - especially on the afternoon commute!
Clipping nails is gross on the TTC... i've also seen a girl tweeze her eyebrows once.
You'd be surprised how much one can be exposed to by riding the rocket for 15 yrs. |

Things that piss me off more than anything else:
People not getting up for the elderly
People talking extremely loud on their cellphones, especially when it's about their boyfriend going to jail or about getting into a physical fight with their girlfriend, and other trashy conversations
People telling yelling at their kids to "SHUT THE UP YOU STUPID BRAT!" (re: same type of person as the last point)
People who play music on their cellphones outloud (I've noticed this doesn't happen as much anymore)
...I'm sure I'm forgetting some but those are by far the ones that make my blood boil the worst.

LOL I agree.
It does my head in when someone has their iPod on so loud and it's music, usually commercial bieber/rnb/gaga! AAGGGHHH
Oh and when someone has SMELLY food!! Can't they eat before they get on the train ffs :whip: Balls :haha:
Canada is a piece of cake compared to other cities I've lived in...espeically London....if you can survive the battlefield there on the ancient Tube,(especially when it's so packed it's painful and some c**t rips a silent but deadly one), you can survive anything :haha: :haha: |

|
wait...what? You get angry when someone steps off the bus they've ridden to their destination before you get on?
Thats ass ing backwards if you ask me. I get pissed when douchebags rush on before letting people out at their stop. I mean, its the same as getting off an on an elevator, would it not be common courtesy to let the people out before you barrel in? I don't get it, almost unfathomable you could feel that way. I'm hoping you just got the two things mixed up, otherwise....:wtf: |
