Can you elaborate any further? Or is it an anti Tiesto, I'm too cool for school stance you have?
There are lots of tunes I could've picked instead but I was doing it quickly at work off the top of my head and that was it. Shoot me! I picked one tune that you didn't like out of 30...me bad.
I forgot about tunes like:
Age of Love - Age of Love
Andain - Beautiful Things
Quench - Dreams
Push - Universal Nation
Freefall -Skydive
Billy Hendrix - Body Shine
Tilt - Butterfly
Chakra - Home
Faithless - Salva Mea
Tiesto - Lethal Industry
Nalin and Kane - Beachball
Ayla - Ayla
Van Basten - Silver Bullet
BBE - 7 Days and a Week
X-Cabs- Neuro
Narcotik - Blue
Amoeba Assassin - Rollercoaster
LSG - Netherworld
Zee - Say My Name
Da Hool - Meet Her At The Love Parade
The Taste Experience - Summersault
Vernon - Vernon's Wonderland
Li Kwan - Point Zero
Space Maneouvres - Stage 1
Origin - Wide Eyed Angel
Icon - Voco Me
Ascension - Someone
V-Tracks - Herectic Voices
Salt Tank - Dimension or Eugina
Mystica - Ever rest
BT - Remember or Loving You More
Way out West - The Gift or Ajare
Humate - Love Stimulation
Insigma - Open Our Eyes
CJ Bolland - The Prophet
Dave Gahan - Dirty Sticky Floors
Solarstone - Release
Peter Martin - Perfect Wave
Thrillseekers - A New Life
Marmion - Schonenberg
P.S. One of the above tunes is a deliberate mistake and is actually a "lol". Can you spot it? |

| The reason was that the rest of your list was full of good tunes and suddenly you put in an awful tune such as Traffic in it. It got nothing to do about it being Tiesto. The tune just seemed so out of place with the rest of the list. |

Fair enough, you just didn't come across too well when you dismissed the other 29 tunes! lol |

I would have quoted the other 29 otherwise. |

It's maybe not old enough yet to be called classic, but I bet it will become one, at least in Holland for being the first instrumental track hitting no 1 in 23 years. |

I'm not too knowledgeable about trance from 1990s myself compared to most, as I started up in the early 2000s, but I would insist that these are viable candidates for classic trance from the 2000s:
PQM - You Are Sleeping (Luke Chable Vocal Pass)
Solarstone - Solarcoaster (Midway Mix)
James Holden - Solstice
Portishead - Roads (Sultan & Tonedepth Remix)
Tilt - The World Doesn't Know
Audioholics - External Key
Ayumi Hamasaki - M (Above & Beyond Typhoon Dub Mix)
Holden & Thompson - Nothing (93 Returning Mix)
Re:Locate - Waterfall
Solid Globe - North Pole
Randy Katana - In Silence (Txitxarro Mix)
Hybrid - Gravastar
Fictivision Vs. Phynn - Escape (Phynn Mix)
Oliver Prime - Mindgames
Octagen & Arizona - Starburst
Choopie & Shmuel - Sunrising
Super8 - Alba
Midtone - Pearl
Epsilon 9 - Lifeformation (Infernal Machine Mix)
Quivver - Brothers & Sisters
Dousk - The Novel
Simon Patterson - Bulldozer
Darren Tate - Prayer For A God
Amoebaassassin - Piledriver
Ficta - Eli (James Zabiela's Rave Lizard Mix)
Probably not as conventional as the usual McClassic trance lists, but they're up there for me. |

Probably because a good portion of your tracks aren't trance at all - good tunes, though. Well, most of them. |

To be fair, I listed about 25 tunes and you picked out only 1 that you thought was funny. What about the others? |
Well, to be fair, you picked out, perhaps, the possibly worst one (IMO) of Tiësto you could.
What about Theme From Norefjell, Suburban Train, Flight 643, Dallas 4 PM, Sparkles, etc?
And I disagree that Tiësto's Remix of William Orbit - Barber's Adagio For Strings is more of a classic than Ferry Corsten's. |

Why do you all list nothing but trance? Even the people listing "proper" classics? Most of these classics are very much scene classics, that nobody outside the trance scene will know. Tracks I consider classics are ones everyone remembers, regardless of the scene they're in. DOCTRINE scrapes a pass here for Energy Flash and Kinetic, neither of which are trance but both of which are known to trancers because they're classics. |

Haha, I did cheat a bit with prog house. But I take your good word. |
