For quite a few months I've been slowly getting into jazz. I first started off with its electronic bastard child, namely "nu jazz" (not acid jazz) and the stuff churned out by the famous label "Ninja Tune". After getting used to it, I decided to venture inside the realms of traditional jazz, and I found out I really can't stand slow music... but I do like the fast-paced dance-floor oriented stuff. Unfortunately, I can't find much of this quick hotness, and even the artists that produce this kind of music seem more inconsistent than Richard D James. Can you guys help me out? I do not care for anything that isn't:
At least 150 BPM fast (the higher the tempo, the better);
Danceable;
Pretentious enough to be listened by someone drinking chai latte and reading about the absurdity of the human condition in French underneath an ugly sweater.
Can you guys help me out? These are some of the tunes I like:
It's not jazz, but I like this a lot. You might too.

Hah, this is fun, Domesticated, I like it!
It reminds me of an odd big band remix of "Keep Hope Alive" or "Busy Child" (yeah, the tunes by Crystal Method). I can't remember who the remixer is, unfortunately.

The battle between Dave (pianist) and Joe Morello (drummer) towards the end is ing epic. The way Joe carries himself throughout the whole thing makes it seem like child's play.
Edit: If I'm going to post some Brubeck, I might as well post the almighty...
Edit: Oh , I had no idea that Tito Puente did a cover of Take Five. *masturbates furiously*
