Listened to the samples earlier today. The vocal tracks are complete garbage; pop music listeners maybe like this stuff, but I completely hate it! I couldn't even listen to all of them. The instrumental tracks are decent at best ... and now I'm being gentle for Armin, ... or Benno, or whoever produced this kind of .
I never thought Armin was an amazing producer, but he definitely has done better than this in the past. I can understand why he's outsourcing his productions though; it doesn't matter who makes it, and how good or bad it is, his stuff will always sell. So why would he still do the effort himself? |

The fact that you're asking this question speaks to something being severely wrong with the whole AvB franchise - not that it's unprofitable but that it's bankrupt of any ethos, what-so-ever, and simply in it for the money. |

| I like some of the tracks but its nothing new, same sounds as before. Doesn't hurt to add some new synths or some new beats. |

It's definitly not my taste, but I understand that Armin wishes to reach out to a broader audience and that's his choice of course if he wants to do that!
But.. there is something I've never quite understood, and that's other producers making the music for someone, which is released under his or her name, something he has not put the characterism on him/herself.
But maybe it's just me, I want to be in total control over the things i promote for example, becauses it's my thoughts and stories i tell over the tracks, and that is something that someone else cannot do FOR me. Maybe I'm just overanalyzing here *lol* I wish you all a great Wednesday instead! :D |

It sounds like a Rank 1 album and not at all like an Armin van Buuren album, if he had anything of a signature sound left that is :)
Not really a lot of bad productions on there (in terms of production quality) but nothing really that stands out much either.
Like the Josh Gabriel collab and the Sophie Ellis Bextor tracks the most :) |

Eh... no! Not even close.
Its widely known that Armin can, always has made his own music.. he also used to master his own tracks.
When you are one of the most famous DJs in the world, why the hell would you sit in your studio ALONE making tracks, when u got fellow musician friends who can stay in the studio and give inputs and help out, saves time and makes a more fun experience as well
Armin used to make less commercial stuff, yes we get it!
An artist trying to sell records... WOOOW what a shame!
