i had not clicked a trance thread until today for ages, but it is funny to see they haven't changed..
anyways, what's the kids justification for not going into a club? hes probably like in 9th grade. |

I'm not going to dismiss someone out of hand for their age: I was posting on these forums when I was 15 and I always displayed my full DOB in my profile so everyone knew it. I also said plenty of stupid things and made plenty of mistakes. Osterzone, however, is clearly reticent about his age, and yet displays all the classic signs of a teenager:
1) He doesn't have much money so he complains endlessly about download prices.
2) He's never been in a club, and his justification is rather pathetic.
3) He has mentioned being at school several times.
4) He likes an immature strain of populist gateway music, but is beginning to show the signs of branching out into other genres.
5) He is perpetually angry, confrontational and hot-headed.
Also, since Rebel9 has fallen silent: I've never once in this thread said anything like "Things were better in the past" and you will never be able to cite me doing it in any thread because I haven't said it. So your "usual suspects" riposte is utterly ing bunk. Now actually read my post and think about it without using your small-minded trance binaries. |
I type one sentence in this thread, and in response I've gotten paragraph after paragraph from this guy trying to figure out my life story...and he thinks I have a problem :stongue: |

Ozzie, that's like saying you're afraid of flying in an airplane because you will crash...how often do clubs get on fire really? i've known of one case in Argentina. You should not be afraid of things you have no control over..if that is even the real reason. Might as well tell System your age now... |

It wouldn't be so enjoyable for people to troll you so hard if you didn't react to it in the manner that you do. If you think it's so unreasonable for people to always come in and troll your wonderfully crafted threads, then stop responding in kind. You only add fuel to the fire.

But it doesn't need to happen to you in order to be afraid. Also there there is enough proof that if things go wrong they really go wrong:

Even after almost 10 years I hear several times a year about this accident. The impact of this in Volendam was beyond my imagination.
I also know someone who is horrified by snakes. Even a picture can scare the hell out of her. Chance to run into a snake in Holland is like zero and she is fully aware of this. |

what is the point of living life with fears? it just restrains you from truly being alive.
if you're going to die, you're going to die one way or another...the times comes for each of us. you don't get to choose when or how unless you take your own life.
last year me and a friend crashed straight on into a tree avoiding to hit another car while we were both wasted. the airbags came out and the front of the car was irreparable. so it was a pretty strong impact, luckily, as drunk as we were we somehow both remembered to put our seatbelt on...now this was in Vietnam so the authorities didn't imprison us. We couldve died though, but we didnt, it dosent mean im not stepping into another car...but it gives me the impression that i have a higher chance of dying on the way to the club in a crash than at the club.

Well he is very young but I do give him credit that he does know a bit about music for his age. Even if it is music.
