Except he didn't really do any of the production of Imagine and Mirage. Watch the interview with Armin and Benno on the Armin Only '08 DVD. He actually kinda admits that Benno does most of the production work because he is so busy. He just says what he wants and Benno does the work.

Armin is because he is boring... his productions suck - I was never a fan of even his ACTUAL productions.. he was always the worst producer (imo) out of all the "big trance dj's" It always takes him atleast an hour to build up the set - sometimes it doesn't build until his last 30 mins.
His label? I won't even touch that subject.

Yes i know, and to me its been like this since 2004.. i was a huge Armin fan until then. Whats the point on complaining on something you already know is going to be . In 2004 i had the right to complain cause i actually expected him to do music that i liked.
Checking out his album, then coming back here to complain about it when you already know its going to be commercial crap is kinda pointless. Id rather praise Armin for the great music he gave me 1999-2003, and understand that Armin van Buuren, he is a DJ that is there to give the masses what they want.. and thats crappy uplifting "hands in the air" trance music.
He actually checked out MY album on a promo pool and gave it a comment and good rating, he knows exactly what underground trance is, he is just there to please the crowds and does not hide the fact either. Armin i love you and thank you for the good times. :)

So basically what you are trying to say is that no one should complain when he releases cheesy and just think about his good heydays? Just accept and shut up? That's a dick way of seeing things.

Im going to go to the A State of Trance section and complain about how bad his latest show was, after all it has just been bad for the last 300 shows or something.
