I thought this thread was the congratulate a guy for doing something MANY Djs only dream about..
Let's get real for a second.. EDM has been underground since it started 30+ years ago and you can't keep it under raps forever. It's still as low key as its going to get, but its time we let the world know that we've had the key to progressive music all along. Yes I agree many Djs are not about the fans anymore, they have one focus "get paid, get laid". They are more concerned about which talentless rappers and pop artists they can collaborate with to try and make their genres better with amazing production that EDM is known for.
I wasn't thrilled to say the least about the stipulations many of these recording companies place on the DJs (where to play, minimum capacity, which tracks are to be played, etc) but this is out of the Djs hand after he/she signs their John Hanon the dotted line of the contract.
Instead of being bitter and jealous, how about appreciating that a clearly talented guy who happens to call Canada home has made a imprint on the music scene world wide! Madonna can recognize his talent, so why shouldn't you?
Congrats Joel and best of luck on the show. I am sure you'll be one of the very few real artists/producers to make an appearance and throw down some great beats for the world to enjoy!!!

Dude...I wasn't trying to make fun of you....if anyone has had your back all this time its been me. I give you great respect for what you are trying to do...unfortunately the simple minds around here just don't see your vision...or understand it. I just thought the picture showed that you are so much better then deadmau5 and that you don't really need mickey mouse ears or the fame that he does....you do this for music...not just EDM but all music.
