What's wrong with expecting to be paid for something you work long and hard at? As for your second statement, you probably won't hear a highly commercially successful artist's work released under the moniker you're familiar with. It's sad but true that many commercially successful artists cater their sound to a lower appreciation of music so that it will appeal to a mass audience for higher sales. If you want to hear their really good stuff, in my experience, you often have to search for work realeased under a different name to hear what they're truly capable of. |

first of all.. how did i become a 'music industry guy' i have nothing to do with the music industry, or the nightlife industry what so ever.. most people on this board have been to where i work.. but not events that i do. ask anyone who's been to a Fashioncares, brazilian ball, or Supergala for Chrons and Colitis.. the minute you think you can match my level of what i do for a living.. come talk. i never once cliamed to be a music/industry guy. |
