You are just mad that it would actually work, because the stupid idiots that believe that he is a muslim would probably believe he is yoda if he dressed up like him.

It's funny now though, while this moronic distraction is taking place, that his supporters are very determined to prove what a solid Christian he is... but when Bush was in office it was a problem having someone who was staunch in his personal identification as a Christian. :p
Dude, you really need to stop looking at the world from your right-wing eyeglasses and be objective. :p
As you can see from his replies on the interview that you posted, his ideas on his own religious beliefs are a far cry from those of even moderate Christians. That is what leads me to believe that he's actually some sort of deist (if he even really believes in any higher power at all) who is pretending to be a Christian because in the US that's pretty much a requisite.
George W. Bush, on the other hand, is a Jesus Freak. I don't see Obama saying things like these:
We need common-sense judges who understand our rights were derived from God.
And there wouldn't be any need to "prove" anything if it weren't for the fact that to many people in the US, not being a Christian equals being a baby-eating, Satan worshiper with no morals.

Its pretty much regarded within a lot of circles that Obama and Clinton were both agnostic, if not atheist.
Unfortunetly you have to believe in santa, the tooth fairy, the easter bunny, flying spaghetti monster God, to get anywhere politically in this country. Its a damn shame that we are still led by the masses of idiots that believe they do not control their own destiny. :(

As I recall it, only 10% of the Brazilian population would vote for an atheist. It'd make me very sad if the rest of the population really thinks they're only good because Someone told them to behave :(

I am being objective; I'm just pointing out the comedy of the double standard. Plus, since the media seems so shocked and offended by the fact that the public is confused about what Obama believes, I though it was worth pointing out that Obama doesn't seem too sure either with the vague generalities in his interview answers. Either way I don't care- I find all religion stupid. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that Obama's inner monologue goes something like this: "ing hell... so many people in this country put too much emphasis on religion when there are bigger fish to fry. I gotta figure out the best way to make it look like I can appeal to as many faiths and positions of belief as possible to keep these peasants off my case because they all have the right to vote."
I was going to title this thread: "Kevin Thinks Obama is a Muslim" but decided he'd totally flip his crockpot if I did...
Good News everyone 18% is now only 18% of some abstract percentage we applied to human conscious thought while being in the present situation of now. This percentage later became the percentage needed for causing all out right chaos within a deterministic system of chaos, perturbative quantum field theory; at any rate it was all a quantum event where what we consider space time; well it is really in sociological imagination. . .
18% is just 18%
an abstract number
just as abstract as words
applied to the physical constructs of reality
and
yep
that is 18% alright
I could easily make up numbers with out even doing a study and people would still believe it; even if i told them it was fake. Our minds will only take you so far
18% of the time it works all the time

And I'm pointing out that it's not a double standard at all, since they are both completely different situations. People never criticized Bush for being a Christian per se. He was criticized for being an extremist religious freak that said things like "I believe God wants me to be president" and who wanted judges to rule by biblical standards.

You're exaggerating things. I have read about a dozen different articles reporting on the results of that poll and none of them seem to be "shocked and offended". Maybe a little shocked by people being so stupid, but certainly not offended. In the US this should be par for the course, anyway. :p

Now this is a bit contradicting. Is he really unsure, thus explaining the vagueness of his answers? Or is he being vague on purpose to appeal to as much people as possible?
I think it's the latter, and it's clear that so do you. If you weren't so focused on criticizing Obama, his supporters, or the 'left-wing' media you would avoid contradicting yourself. ;)

Explanation: Barred spiral galaxy NGC 1365 is truly a majestic island universe some 200,000 light-years across. Located a mere 60 million light-years away toward the chemical constellation Fornax, NGC 1365 is a dominant member of the well-studied Fornax galaxy cluster. This impressively sharp color image shows intense star forming regions at the ends of the bar and along the spiral arms, and details of dust lanes cutting across the galaxy's bright core. At the core lies a supermassive black hole. Astronomers think NGC 1365's prominent bar plays a crucial role in the galaxy's evolution, drawing gas and dust into a star-forming maelstrom and ultimately feeding material into the central black hole.

I hope you realise that your nonsensical butcherings of concepts like relativity and chaos theory are not remotely deep or clever. Nobody thinks of you as some enlightened cosmic traveller, so stop decorating your hippy blather with tortured fragments of pop science.
