call it curse of the xman.

if they are so honest, they should refund me more than $500 i wasted on their events. every insomniac event i went was utter garbage.

250k wow. but dont rush into conclusions here guys. Thats for an arena solo act. For him just as another dj it is far far less. Say 100k-125k (though still a lot haha).

Wasted on what?

250 thousand dollars to play ing CDs for a few hours. Absolutely ridiculous. Anyone paying to see that muppet should feel ashamed.

there is demand to warrant the 250k fee.

how much do NBA players like Kobe make? 25,000,000/82 games = ~$300k for 48min of basketball.

why is paying 250k foolish when there is a demand? If you could afford 250k and the time to throw the event, its easy money. You need money to get money and with 250k and Tiesto and time, believe me you will make a ton of profit.

Comparing mixing CDs, a skill hundreds of thousands of people can do, to being a top level NBA player, a skill only a dozen people can do. Nice.

Kudos to Tiesto for being able to demand that much for a gig, and if Insomniac can still turn a profit off of expenses like that, more power to them. But wow, $250,000 for 3-4 hours of DJing is over the top. I thought it was retarded when he got $50,000 for 3 hours here in Atlanta back in 2007. Now it's five times that? Unreal.

Then why did you keep going to them?

I'm not trying to defend Insomniac, I haven't yet been to one of their events, but your statement doesn't make a lot of sense.

Also, Tiesto gets paid that much because he's Tiesto. I don't know why people act surprised.

I know nobody likes him now-a-days, but every time I listen to Magik 6 or Nyana I remember why he is where he is. The man, at least at one point, was awesome.

it's different...he has an image/brand...that's why it's he's so expensive. you can probably have a masked guy doing the same thing and nobody could tell the difference..but when you look up and see his face..that's the difference.

that's just how entertainment is..doens't snooki get paid 10k to make a club appearance? she's some chubby short nasty looking girl..'nuff said.

You need to refund your self that $500 dollars.

YOU kept on going, no one forced you to go. It's not hard to figure out who's mistake it is...

I see this so ing much now a days it makes me sick.

People need to ing live up to their mistakes instead of blaming x y and z. No one want's to take responsibility anymore when hits the fan.

The fication of america continues...
