I agree with it. But I think there should also be a process that needs to be taken to ensure that these people really understand their decision.
Like when people get sex changes for instance. Having to live as the opposite sex for a certain period of time and go through counseling before they start taking hormones and then the surgery.
I'm not saying they have to go to counseling for a year or anything, but I don't think it should just be "I want to die", alright, done! |

it's a sticky situation.
it is something that i would ultimately agree with just because it can really help people that are in pain a lot of pain or dying.
but i think it's sort of creepy to be the one that has to day in day out kill people. if i was a doctor i would refuse. i wouldn't want all those deaths on my conscience. |

for me it's not even about religion. it's about the emotional consequences for all involved.
taking a life is serious business.
i know that a lot of you joke and say, oh i could do it, no problem, but that kind of eventually weighs you down. unless you are a sociopath. |
