My point is that the amount of listeners to a particular DJ who plays this sound has no relation to how trendy it is.
Just because Armin might play 1-2 tracks like this each show (out of a two hour format) doesn't mean it's trendy. |

You do realise there are not 50 musical keys? I'm pretty sure there aren't even 50 unique scales. How is it ing possible for these tracks to be "100% different"? Many of them will share the root note, which is 50% of a "two note pattern" as you call it.
And trust me, "I've listened to 50 tracks one after the other and I'm pretty sure none of them use the exact same notes" is not proof. You'd be thrown out of court with such evidence. You offered proof, but you can't actually provide it. And you don't know. You don't have relative pitch, do you?
