Alright incognito man, how bout you recommend a house session I can download? I am always up for listening to a set that surprises me from the norm. I never said house was crap, I listen a times, its just not the oh and ah for me anymore. plus, i got enough time on my hands to respond to anti-trance comments,(unemployed student, blah:P). But you gotta admit the electro cheese house is just as bad as the fluffy trance stuff.

I think most of us would admit that. Most of the people that play that music suck ass anyways.
edit* you should go to an Incognito party. They generally have pretty good music. Definitely one of my favorite hang out spots on Friday. |

It went wrong when people stopped genre mixing and coming up with interesting placement of samples, stopped knob fiddling with digital, and when the trance crowd started intermingling the the mainstream hip-hop pop crowd.
If there are people reading this it couldn't hurt to throw stuff on the table. |

Yes but at least we have a real music discussion going on and people sharing what is turning them on. The Matthias Tanzmann set was pretty difficult for me to get thru. That's a tough sale for anyone who likes melody. Just kind of went nowhere for me. I enjoyed the Lawler vid but then again, I like Lawler. So many of his sets are just sex.
I like my house more on the staight up house or progressive house side and maybe some deep house on sundays/pool parties. The tech side of house just doesn't work for me. I would rather go hear a band play somewhere. Techno hasn't worked for me since like 02 Carl Cox Mixed Live stuff. Thats when I loved Cox!
I'm all for having fun but I still find it funny that people who don't like trance come to tranceaddict and on trance. I use to post on dnb forums and you never saw anyone ting on dnb. Granted the dnb people hated on everything else but that was ok with me. Maybe the mods were more active, I don't know. But its been my experience that on any forum that when you get the people with nothing better to do other than bitch left and right that the people that made the forum worthwhile lose interest and the forum goes to . We use to have DJs come and post on our forum. How often does that happen anymore? |

Because with out these threads there would be a WALL of event threads.
So whats better a bunch of event threads of maybe a thread like this here and there?
And yes it's tranceaddict, but it's one of the more active forums so people that like all kinds of edm choose this place over others. Other then edm music trackers this is the only edm forum I go on. The rest forums I go on are car related.
So this is the only forum I can share the crap I find online :tongue2 |

I not picking on you bro. Your threads tend to be fun and not malicious (unless its deadr4t lol). I crack up everythime I see house > trance lol. But were cool like that. And I was hoping that when they added the events subforum, all the events would be in there and the main west coast forum would be cleaned up because yes, its a wall of event threads as it is.
There is also snowboard.org for edm which is much more focused on house, tech etc. I know quite a few people from here also post there. |

On the top right click hide event threads in the forum.
