Dave T, Amen!!! Airlines do this and a lot of other business does it too.
The first price we started was at $20. It was never cheaper than $20.
I felt bad when a lot of customers came out of Circus and said they miss the $20 because didn't hear about the advertisement, so because I care about my customers I lower the price to
$20 again. But since it bugs people so much, next time for a three headliner event. We will not do any discount and keep at $30 and $40 just like Avalon and Music Box...
Any one wants to back me up!!! Or should I never give people discounts..
Wow I havent been on TA for ever.... Some always gets me going hahhaha
PS we also give free drinks... with purchase of tickets...

That said, it doesn't bother me, personally. It's just like how plenty of promoters do presales then the week of the event suddenly pop out a free guestlist or something. But that type of business setup is nothing unusual, so people don't look down on it regularly. Plus it's a more apparent risk. When you are on GL, you are not given any priority entry versus presale holders.
Airlines do similar things, though some will let you call and get the difference in the ticket price refunded. Others don't.

Fist of all we never send over or near 18 text ever it cost too much money lol... Please send me your number I will take you off the text list. We only send the text on Sat. and Maybe the day of the sale becaus, people always complaining that they didn't get the advertisements of the sale .That's why we send out the text. but we never send more than 3 time ever, because I send the text out..But if you think we send more than 10 please give me your number.. I will make sure it will never happen again sir.

They will never come back again because no one like to promote to trance, because they always bitch about $5. House music at Avalon never complains. they pay $40 to $60 dollars.
Three headliners for $20... Man you will never find it any where except Circus. why because we dont care about making money, and want trance to keep alive. But we also dont like losing money as well...

Blah, I had a lot written here, but whatever.
Long story short: Watch your language, nguyentony. If you really do work for LMD, you just made it sound like you don't appreciate the people who support you the most.
edit: SVD could be just the boost Circus needs to gain some momentum again. It would put them in competition with Avalon, essentially. |
