haven't been to Circus in a while, it was nice to see it so crowded. i know it was the 10 year anniversary and they wanted to do it up with the stage and all but i still hate seeing the best dj booth in LA sit empty so often.
my musical taste has definitely changed but i was there to see and support my friend Sean and i have to say i liked many of the tracks he dropped. definitely liked it better than the last time i saw him. so wonderful to see so many people that i don't get to see that often due to going to different parties now.
quazar...didn't see your post about what you were wearing until after the night was over. i was wearing the black dress and black boots, came in with sean around 11:45....i'll be in atlanta for 2 weeks leaving tomorrow but hopefully we'll meet up eventually :)

It's all good. I've been getting into techno/tech house/minimal/etc. recently, so I'm sure I'll run into you at one of those events in 2011. :)
I'm gonna be back in ATL for New Year's, myself. I'm looking forward to The Vortex and abundant sweet tea... not so much the cold. :P
Glad you had fun despite it not being your style of music! W&W has some techno elements in their songs, so hopefully you at least got some enjoyment out of their set, too.
Also, the cameras managed to get me this time, I normally don't end up in any pics:
The tall white guy in the santa hat on the right side of the shot is me. I sort of stand out. :P

Marc Simz - "Forbidden City"
Markus Schulz has played this song on GDJB a few times.
To me, the song feels a lot faster than 135 bpm (the same bpm as the previous song, "Rain - Phynn Mix") and is great for keeping the energy level high during a set.

Here is a version of my set that you can download and listen to at your leisure.
Unfortunately a free account on MediaFire only allows me to upload files 200 MB and lower. At 128 kbps, the mp3 was ~240 MB, so I had to reduce the quality from 128 kbps to 96 kbps, but few probably would notice the difference and I'm not trying to make a CD quality mix.

Thanks! Yeah, I heard it on GDJBC and VONYC Sessions, but was listening on XM so I didn't remember the title.
I never noticed you lived in the OC until you mentioned the orange party being for orange county. LMD should start letting you spin in the Sutra*(woops, I meant Shark Club) side room from time to time. With that live mix recording of your's, I think you've proven you can do it. :)

Yeah, that's the one! Sorry, I see Sutra events listed so often on the forum that I got confused. Even though I've been to Shark Club a few times, but not Sutra.
Really, it was Quazar's set. He hit the play button at the beginning of the set and he forced me to fade-out the end of the set in post-production due to his reckless EQing. :p
I made no post-production edits to the set except for the simple fade out at the end.
Looks like things went well, I'll give this mix a spin.
Thanks

I thought I remembered you two coming upstairs at one point, but my mind was soooo distracted that night.
