I'm getting an over-clocked 118.9 GhZ Quad Duo Quad Core with 64 GB of RAM, Five SATA 5TB hard drives four monitors with 840Hz & 1285DPI and I'm going to run only an early version of Reason so it won't hog the resources.

I top that by trading the SATA drives for SSD ones. And a swedish hottie.

Indeed. Get those new PCIx SSD's - I think Raphie(JJ) has the new OCZ ones and they are ridiculous in term of performance.

That's out of my price range, but I hear their coming out with an expandable PCIeix board with 40 slots for a whopping dodecatetrabyte in storage. I'll definitely be saving up for that.

Thats is ing wicked. Even being able to write or say I've got a dodecatetrabyte of storage is worth the cost alone.

Honestly, at least get one SSD for your system drive. They're not that expensive for the smaller ones and the performance increase over a sata is staggering.

Nope I'm saving up for the OCX High Bit Transfer DDTH Mega Stack! :stongue:

(Although I'm assuming you're actually serious about an SSD system drive and I will incorporate that into my eventual system build which includes your recommendations for an RME PCI card and a pair of Yamaha HS80's.)

Of course everyone in Sweden has a masters degree as to not have one would mean to work an extra two years which given the Swedes love for junk and aversion to work a nightmare. The usual progression is to get your masters, obtain welfare and scam people on ebay. I wouldn't say they are all like this but almost all.

Nor Wai! Really? Btw, I've worked with and for number of people with a lot more than a masters degree. Quite a few of them were elitist douchebags, who hid their complete incompetence and worthlessness behind wall-mounted diplomas, incoherent ramblings or plainly proclaimed their raw stupidity. Case in point, my MIT educated, PhD in compsci teacher at uni. He couldn't educate his way of a paper bag, yet he wasn't short on glorious anekdotes of his awesomeness.

A fool with a degree is an educated fool. So, don't believe the hype.

And thanks for advise... whatever little of it there was. Really.

PHd's don't make good teachers. I still think to have a masters degree sort of at least gives you the ok to say you aren't a moron.

Hahahahahahahaha.

You can't even be a teacher if you don't even have a PhD on university. The only non-PhD teachers on the university are PhD students who are promoting on this topic, but it's only 1 or 2 classes, not an entire course. :stongue:

It's a bit silly to call people with PhD's not being good teachers.

We had such a professor too. I think he just simply lacked social skills, because he is a real genius in his area. He's well respected in the scientific community with his lists of publications he has each year. He is no fool, but you might think he is if you take his class :D
