this event deserves its own thread.
party goes from 2pm-12am according to the official facebook event post.
tickets go on sale Dec. 21st
looks like they wont play together at Ultra as many people expected. I for one am glad they aren't playing Ultra. Hopefully other big name artist will say Ultra and the kids (no offense) and throw their own parties.
i gotta say its UNBELIEVABLE how many of their fans on facebook are absolutely hating on them for doing their own event instead of ULTRA. No big name DJ or Act should be obligated to play ULTRA. |

I put a $1,000 on it that those are the fans that are 16yrs old.
Good for SHM for not falling in the trap of Ultra. What DJ in their right mind wants to only play for an hour? I sure as hell don't and it sucks for the fans to see your favorite DJ for 60 mins. At least with the tent SHM will play at least 2 1/2 hours.
Guaranteed AN21 and Max Vangeli are going to be on that lineup. |

This party is definitely going to be massive.
Support will definitely come from AN21, Max Vangeli, and maybe Kim Fai, Dirty South etc etc.
LOLz @ "Fans" hating on no UMF - as you said, those are the kiddies complaining that this party is 21+ and that they can't attend. |

| this thread does deserve its own thread. but only when the wmc forum is open. imo it should already be open. with all the nonsense thats going on this year it needs to be opened sooner than previous years. and esp since events are getting announced so damn early and even tickets already going on sale, what are we waiting for? |

I'm glad the Swedes are doing their own event. And the people hating shouldn't be surpised. This new was sort of expected already. They held their own Halloween party this year in their own custom arena with great success. That was their test to see if they could fill out an arena that big and they did.
Their fan base has definetly grown over the last few years, but I was sort of worried that a good portion was coming fromt the Deadmau5 kiddie crowd. At least segment won't be able to attend the party. |

I am not sure how I feel about this...We were going to fly out for ULTRA and I am not sure what all the hate about ULTRA is about.
We saw SHM in Vegas for Halloween and they brought the house down.
So whatever they do its going to epic... |

The big gripe about Ultra is if you're over the age of 25 you will feel like you are 45. It's a bunch of 16yrs old running around high on drugs, playing in the dirt, playing with glowsticks and overdosing.
Then add to that, you only see the djs you want to see for an hour or an hour and a half at most. IMO it's a waste of $200. You may want to see this and that dj but what do you do if they play at the same time on different stages? You're ed. I would much rather spend $30 or $40 on presales and catch proper sets in proper venues and spend the same amount of money and be able to see every dj I want, with people my own age.
Compare that to the SHM Tent where you will pay $50 or $60 to go to a legit Tent with a 21+ crowd. SHM will play at least 2 and 1/2 hours and you'll get AN21, Max Vangeli and I'm sure another massive name will be thrown in the mix. |

| Well seeing how ASOT and this should be taking place the same day, I won't be attending this. Anyway, I'm not really a fan of SHM so it doesn't bother me one bit. |

i was at the vegas show too (along with jmauro). it was a MONSTER party.
whether you think they're lame, cheesy or awesome - they really know how to throw a great party (good track selection, amazing production, great vibe).
for $45 bucks, this is a can't miss if you're into house. would have enjoyed ASOT500, but like it was said before - UMF is a playground.
