Seriously, if a male or female can't make their way around the kitchen or do a load of laundry it's a massive parenting fail. Training your sons and daughters properly! Stuff like this amazes me with the amount of information we have at our finger tips. My being a good cook is directly proportional to my access to the internet and Jamie Oliver...lol. I make a mean standing prime rib roast :) At some point you really have to take matters into your own hands.

people are growing up as too lazy, it's fairly sad
they'd rather take the month worth laundry home to have Mom wash it and bring over frozen food to live off :\

I find there's something so sexy and intimate about preparing a meal with your partner. I don't think many people realize what a great bonding experience it is...to create and enjoy something together.

Nothing sexy about wasting money on ty take-out every night. :o

Sexy? I don't know about you, but after a couple of decades there's nothing sexy about who's making dinner that night. Too many times that chore is a pain in the ass, especially when both people work. At least that's the way I see it.

You need to multitask your prep time with sexy time!

I think you hit the nail on the head.....with both people working. I know more times then not I get home from work and the last thing I want to do is spend an hour preparing dinner.

Simple Life skills have been overlooked in order to work hard and play hard.

I really wish our society was able to go back to having one person stay at home and take care of the house. I know its not practical due to the cost of living but I personally think its a better way to manage a household.

Who says it needs to be an hour? Some of the best dinners we have are under 20mins of prep time. The keeping it sexy part comes from having your significant other just chill with you and having a glass of wine together while you cook.

I don't disagree that you can make some meals in 20 minutes but more often then not it takes more time then that to prepare a fresh meal.

I'd say its newsworthy for the poor children these women will one day want. Mommy will be sitting at home not having a clue how to cook a simple meal for them or be able to do their laundry.

i am no feminist and i know how do to the basics. but wtf? why was this the woman's job in the first place? poor children? really?

just hire somebody. ;)

Maybe 30 years ago, but after being with the same person for that length of time, there's no sexy in meal making... LOL. Hmmm, maybe I invest in a mistress. ;)

Depends on what you're into cooking I guess. Since there are so many good recipes that don't take a lot of time to get ready I don't get into the really intricate, time consuming prep unless it's a special occasion.
