just hire somebody. ;)

Why have children in the first place if you are just going to hire someone else to raise them for you?

I don't think it has to be the woman's job to stay home but I can't think of many men who take parental leave after they have a child. The mother can do more for a child in the first year then the father ever can.

so you can pass on your superior genetic code to the next generation. that is why all species mate.

the raising of the children is a different story. if you can afford to hire someone, then why not?

EDIT: For all those that misunderstood this comment. I don't mean someone to raise your children and teach them everything about the world, i mean help you with the cooking and cleaning after the children so to leave you more time to actually teach them about the world.

You should try my Ontraio spring lamb with reduced red wine sauce, etc. The meal I like to make the most!

Yes, we do have offspring to pass on our genetic code but humans also mate for simple pleasure.

Personally, I think children and parents need that emotional bond that comes from raising them.

I can never seem to get lamb to work out for right for me...I always tend to over cook it.

Tonight I'm making Cornish Game Hen with garlic mashed potatoes, cesar salad and asparagus. I'm also going to try a new white chocolate with raspberry mousse recipe for desert.

Sexy? I don't know about you, but after a couple of decades there's nothing sexy about who's making dinner that night. Too many times that chore is a pain in the ass, especially when both people work. At least that's the way I see it.

I work 12 hours a day taking care of other people's family members. When you don't get to see your own loved ones as much, you cherish whatever time you have with them. In that way, I find making dinner with my partner a nice way to bond. ;)

I don't know about you, but I want to keep the passion alive in my relationship after a couple decades - so I don't look at sharing an experience as simple as making dinner as a chore. :p

Cooking and enjoying a meal should be just that - enjoyable. If you look at food and eating as a chore, you're doing it wrong imo.
