The whole thing was like watching a car wreck. you hear the screeching tires as you sit in the cafe, the nice girl is talking to you. you completely ignore her to watch the collision which seems to happen in slow motion because you are so freakin' excited about seeing disaster. You yell " yeah" way too loudly for a social setting and clap your hands together once while caught in the moment. The girl leaves disgusted at you, but you don't care because you are satisfied. (strikingly similar to my sex life) |

The worst part was that he continually ignored the obvious problems with his strategy, even when they were made so completely apparent both by exposition and imitation. There were so many points to stop what he was doing and start turning things around but his ego kept getting the better of him. |

By the way, I think he's trying to get back at me. Just had a guy add me on IM who said he got my email address from somewhere called "grindr", which turns out to be a gay cruising app. It's pretty easy to find my email address from the info on TA, so I'm guessing he did some rudimentary Googling of his antagonists. If anyone else adds me and turns out to be from the Rochester area, I'm gonna get those details off Jay again, so I can exact some revenge. |

It's not like the guy couldn't be a friendly or engaging poster and my inclination wasn't to be ultra-ruthless with him. Apart from parodying his ludicrous antagonism it seemed like a lot of posters who'd normally go for the jugular were being more charitable, almost punching with kid gloves. He just kept behaving like an ass, though. It was like watching someone who wanted to force the other shoe to drop, on some subconscious level, that impelled him into his predicament. By the time Jay took him on his magic carpet ride, that eventuality just seemed like it fit in with the natural progression of the way things were going, anyway. |

i agree with this and Eddie's comment.
i tried to warn him, humorously of course, took a few jabs at him, but nothing anywhere near the heinous maliciousness that i am known for on other boards.
he wanted to fit in, yet he had this self defeating prophecy thing going on.

i waited to do what i did. it could have been done way earlier.
The situation was comparable to being in a bar with a belligerent drunk with a napoleon complex. He runs around the bar all night making empty threats (which was done in multiple threads by him, including threatening to hack me which was lol) until he makes threats to the wrong guy who promptly knocks his teeth out and puts him on his ass because he can.
I'm a dick on here, no question, but this type of thing is not the status quo for me in terms of how i like to antagonize. This was a very different circumstance, and frankly had something drastic not happened the anal cancer would spread. Russell should be thanking me, because i think he learned a valuable life lesson.
