Srussell, try the McCallan 18 or 25 if you have the money. You'll notice the difference real quick compared to the 15, even though the 15 is great stuff. With Vodka I have my "go to" regular brand and my "I have guests and/or special occasion" brands. Same with the single malts.

I use Glenlivet 12 or Lagavulin 12 for the regular, and McCallan 18 or 25 for special occasion. I hear Scapa 14 (Orkney Islands region) is awesome too.

Never less than 12 years on those single malts ;)

Really tasty stuff.

Not bad with Coke either...British Airways have it self serve in their first class lounges at Heathrow and also onboard.

:wtf:

You may get shot if you admit in public that you mix coke with Blue Label. Holy Christ that stuff is meant to be drank strait! Don't tell me you put A-1 Sauce on filet mignon too.

If I feel a restaurant is too snooty I will always ask for ketchup to go with my steak. Pisses them off to no end.

And this may get me kicked out of the thread. But, Makers Mark bourbon is better than any scotch I've had.

Johnny Walker blue is very decent, I didn't feel that it was for sipping though. The taste wasn't complex enough.

Ha, no A-1 sauce, no. I like drinking it with Coke, because, well I can! In the air the only whiskey options ares JW Blue, Glenlivet 18 and Woodford Reserve. Not a fan of the latter and my father would probably hurt me if he knew I mixed Coke with a single malt, so the JW Blue it is...
