You know Gmilf, i've always wanted to try smoking my stogies with some bourbon instead of single malt scotch.

Got any recommendation for a good, but cheap resort to my splurging on single malts?

I like the ones that use a lot of corn mash, they are sweeter and mix better with a rich cigar. Makers Mark or Bulliet are my all around favorites when smoking. Also, try having some dark chocolate around to take a bite of when the smoke seems to begin overpowering the bourbons taste.

What do you think of Wild Turkey and have you ever tasted Jack Daniels No. 1? Friend did. Said it tasted nothing like the No 7 crap.

Wild Turkey has become a lot more popular lately but its really harsh and I do not like it. I think Jack Daniels 7 is pretty harsh as well. The single barrel is much smoother, but I personally like gentleman's Jack more that either. It's just a double filtered #7. And I think its a couple bucks cheaper.

The only real scotch I've had is Johnny Walker Black, and I liked it quite a bit.

Though I have to admit I'm a bourbon guy at heart. I'm a sucker for sugar. Maker's or Jack are always a good choice. I enjoy Wild Turkey American Honey, too. Unlike nice scotch, you can throw any of those on ice or with a mixer and not be an .
