Totally worth it, though.

nice to have a thread about whiskey here, my favorite drink, i'd drink it all the time if i had the money, since i dont have the money, the best i've tried was walker's blue label.

anyhow whiskey is a man's drink and it's ing good

edit: and srussel i srsly thought you're retarded, and then u started to make some sense in the nba thread, and you just started a conversation about my favorite drink, you may not be as dumb as you seem
edit2: nope, you're still an idiot

I know this is a thread about Scotch Whisky, but I was introduced to Japanese Whisky not too long ago and I can easily say that I don't plan on drinking any other hard liquor any time soon.

This one is my personal favourite:

I'm touched. I still don't like you.

One of my favorites.

If you found me cut up and without most of my limbs this is the predominant liquid that would be around me

Hmm. I would've guessed it would be semen.

That's actually a rather nice Scotch, especially considering the normal retail price.

has anyone tried this Thai whiskey? I think that it tastes more like rum, but for 3-4 dollars a bottle it doesn't get much better!

What would be a good scotch to try and buy the next time I am at the store under $60. I don't want to spend much more than that in case I don't actually like it. I was thinking a lower age of a brand then if it really knocks me off my feet going for the more premium selection. Is that a good way to approach it?

Glad you mentioned this. This Japanese whiskey has been giving the Scotch whiskey a run for its money in the taste competitions the past few years now.
