I intended this to be for single malts only, but if you have a particularly great blended, please share.
I'm currently working on a bottle of this:
Share your favorites and/or ones that you've been dying to try.

I'm working on this. It has very light delicate flavor and floral aroma. Highly recommend.
I also have a bottle of Ardbeg but I don't drink it very often. I'm not usually in the mood for heavily peated whiskey.
This guy is has lot of nice reviews, I also get a kick out of his accent.

Yeah I'm more of a Speyside, Highland fan. Taipan, have you had that or just want to try it? I've never had a Glenlivet that I particularly liked, but I think I've only had 12 and 10yr maybe.

Talisker 10
Talisker 18 (Killer)
Lagavulin 16, smoky son of a gun.
Lagavulin double distilled. Same as the 16, but without the strong alcohol taste. Taste like gold mothaas.
Oh and Laphroig has an oily taste, the smell of that scotch stays.

I made the mistake of buying a 18 year old Highland park, tasted like dandelion batched with rubbing alcohol. Such a woman scotch. Get some Glenfidich while you're at it.

Glenfiddich is good. Not my favorite but their 12 year is a relatively cheap/good one.
Highland Park is decent for the price, but I'm not a huge fan of it either.

Brah you irish mang, you should be drinkin' some Jameson.

Haha Jameson is a staple for me. Scotch is for special occasions. Have you ever had Midleton? I've never seen it in a liquor store here, but I brought a bottle back the last time I was in Ireland. So delicious. It runs about 150 Euro though. It's basically hand selected by the master distiller at the Jameson distillery in Dublin and every bottle is signed by him. I think they only put out a few hundred to a thousand bottles of it every year.

Jameson isn't anything special

It's really not. I mean I love it, but Jameson is for drinking in large quantities. A good single malt is for sipping...or sipping in large quantities. That being said, I would take Jameson over Jack Daniels or Jim Beam any day.

Sipping is cool, but gulping is the way.

Gulping a single malt??? :whip: :whip: :whip: That's almost as bad as putting ice in it.
