this dubstep is not as bad as the stuff i usually hear. this stuff (especially magnetic man) sounds very hip hoppish.

The scene is way better today than it has been in the past 5 years. There are more quality shows and there is a wider variety of dance music to choose from.
Watching Djs like Jason Blakemore growing up in the late 1990s let me clue in on the fact that it was ok to swear a Quicksilver or Billabong t-shirt and shorts to a rave and not be so harshly judged for it.
How old is everyone here? Junior high age? I know Billy is, but this is ridiculous. You judge people based on their appearance and age rather than their support and love for our artform we've been working so hard to blow up over the past 15 to 20 years so we don't have to listen to hip hop at every venue? ... And you are still complaining???

you know what... i was thinking the same thing but was afraid to admit it (trying to be respectful to the scene blah blah blah)... but yeah. it sucked
but the other recommendations above are decent. They are definitely non-commercial type dubstep tracks which i appreciate :)
