You may question the life choices of some of us to wait until we're self sufficient and able to have children without the stress of finances complicating things further, but the really nasty reality of some situations is that you're either mad or an idiot to do so otherwise. But while their parents are off getting their crap together, the kids aren't going to want for anything and its better than shovelling cash into the hands of people that need to manage it and their own lives better.
I've seen the results of rock bottom poverty on kids and its truly hideous beyond anyone in the developed world with its social safety nets can imagine. You might see it on TV and read about it, but the actual reality is so confronting it'll change your perspective on a whole lot of things. |

That's coming out of HRH's bank account, in some ways its good because otherwise she'd just spend it on something quintessentially rubbish like a BMW. Aside from that its all fun and games until I tread on a lego first thing in the morning and mutilate the tendons in the arch of my foot.
Besides, if they hang around long enough, I won't have to hire maids or a gardener! :stongue: |

| I don't. Unfortunately I come from a culture where having kids is considered the pinnacle of your life and if you don't have them people either think you're impotent, mentally ill, incredibly selfish or all of those things. So whenever I tell people I don't want kids, especially my family, they usually give me a speech about what a horrible person I am. |
